Wow--- a new thing, a big ant jawed pincher machine🐜-- good luck with that one!🤠
How does this compare to the Vail X series?
I wonder if you raise up the knife plate to near 90 degree and keep going ahead , what will happen?
beautiful machine, i have no hay and no se for one but i want one
Dont buy the cid, Ok cutter but when its time to change blades you will feel stupid like me for buying one. They have welded the blade bolts to the carrier. Mine was ruined and they want do a thing about it
Cutting big grass and bushes its ok but to mulch the young grown trees I think you should have used *Brush Busters 131448 010 413 SPED UP.*
Queria ter ter um brinquedinho deste
What good is cutting woody brush if it leaves jagged stobs above the ground? All I see is a future filled with flat tires, and/or livestock with punctured feet. It looks to cut very well, but being able to cut it below the ground is what is needed.
Image at 1:15 versus 1:19 shows a huge difference. I wonder if there is a way, without adding another hydraulic function to tighten the pack before grabbing.
It’s all good to clear that stuff but you better spray that whole area with pathway afterwards
I think my phone knows I've been talking about this! I have the 78inch piston drive extreme. Have had it a few years now and it's an absolute animal and is heavy built. I've done things with it that would shock most people. If you can get to two side of a tree a 20 inch tree will come down!
I just bought the 72" Severe Duty. CID makes good equipment, they need more videos up.
no rebar?
This video os 7 Yeats los, do you still like that setup for your mini skid steer? 👍👍👍
Almost a year into owning mine and it’s a great machine. I did have a small issue with it and cid fixed it under warranty at there full expense including shipping to them and back to me in a timely manner. Great company!
where can i buy replacment blades?
Thanks for making this video 👍
I bought one of these 2 months ago. It does a better job with the deflector shield on. Every job I’ve done with it so far my clients like the results and are surprised at the the amount of work it will do. I really like it but I would change one important thing. I would’ve mounted the attachment plate on a 45 degree angle to scoop trees better. Also move it forward as much as possible. The center of gravity is way out there.
Hi I own a caterpillar 226 with 15.1gpm Would this operate correctly
No
No
I was looking for a video of your CID Swing Arm skidsteer excavator, but didn't find one. When you get a chance, I'm in the market...
Huge improvement.keeping up.
this thing is bad ass
How does it work in ditches? Any problems with the strings wearing or product loss?
I have a WR Long. Ditches can be a pain. It’s better to have long straight wind rows. You also need to have your bales tight. That helps with picking up the bales. It is easier to use it with a skid steer but you can use it with a tractor. I never had any issues with strings wearing out. There is a learning curve with these. Just be patient, if I can do it anyone can too.
seems weak
It's great for small machines. Cute
It won’t last long with that much of a heavy load.
Do you have one?
Much much much lower cost to maintain than they other type [ drum + big disc and now even a double disc ] Much easier to maintain also < 3 or 4 double edged blades that can counter rotate when you want.> Looks like the way to go compared to the others.❗🤠🤚🧙♂️
I your going to EFFECTIVELY run a brush cutter having enough HP to run a HI-FLOW is the difference between 3 acres a day and 12 acres a day! I burned a full days worth of fuel on my T190 to to chop 3 acres of brush. I upgraded and the dealer is telling my I can cover the remaining 12 acres in less than 1 day. we shall see!
Yeah your dealer bull shitted you too. If you're talking about mowing grass and weeds with a 100 hp tractor and 15 ft. bat wing, yeah. but 12 acres of brush and saplings with a skid steer in less than a day... no sir.
Karl K se
This bucket is nothing new, we been using buckets like that for years in graddall excavators, is called C bucket
Thing throws spears in every direction. Crazy. Stay clear.
That was a prototype without deflector. We have it mulching more now and deflector keeps it from throwing debri a long ways.
Seems a bit underpowered.
We carry a piston cutter also which is more powerful! ua-cam.com/video/vvhqN40fSEc/v-deo.htmlm5s
Construction Implements Depot 336-859-2002 how does the piston version have more power?
bunny killer
Phil G Bunny skinner!
These machines make lots noise. Mr Bunny can hear long before before chop suwee arrives. Can’t say the same for a fox , coyote or eagle who eat all the rabbits and never give notice.
Bunnies tend to hunker down and wait for the inevitable chop chop.
At least that's the case when I use my finish mower.
Phil G l
You add the cooler on the non pressure side, in other words on the return line back to the hyd tank.
Alsome
How do you price out a job like that?
Does the blade protrude a little farther than the cutout in the deck to allow the blades to engage material first?
Yes it does.
where can I get one please
Hi Chris, You can call 336-859-2002 and they will tell you where you can get one in your area. Thanks
thankyou very much
@@OFFICIALCIDINC number no longer available. Very interested in purchasing. Do you have new contract info
@@moedog5087 have you found one yet? Email me at dsmith@pricebrosequip.com i can help
Not Impressed!!!
Nice stuff, need a better operator though.
What's wrong with the operator?
I want it. Lol.... hmmm I'll have to see if my cat 257 can run that.
I think yours requires 22 GPM hydraulic flow, so you would need the X-treme brush cutter which can be viewed here. cidattachments.com/product/x-treme-skid-steer-brush-cutter-attachment
I would never want to run tracks in my hay meadow
Your best Friend Depends on who's driving, they work great for me.
Tracks have a much lower impact on fields when driven accordingly. Almost no foot print when driven in straight line
What's wrong with tracks? They don't leave ruts like a truck or tractor can. Sure you see something at 2:38 but that grows back a lot faster than the mess you made getting your truck or tractor stuck. Those front tractor wheels cut through soft soil like a pizza cutter.
very cool concrete bucket. that would be way better on slabs than using forks like I do now. The way you guys run the machines like that you must have a good vendor for cheap tracks. I would be screaming if someone was spinning my tracks on broken concrete like that.
Thanks. Yes using forks can be very dangerous. This video didn't really show how you can use the concrete claw to pick up big slabs of concrete because it was brittle and damaged a lot. We usually don't run the machines like this but we needed to get it done fast as to not slow down or bottleneck production at the plant. Yes we use cheap tracks but they last a lot longer than you would expect considering the many different things we use the machines for.
Thanks more relaxing to watch than it should be :D
Suggestions on the squeezer. Make it to where it can rotate. That would be awesome
just purchased and recieved my 72" cutter this machine is no joke it will do this type work and more
a brave sole running it up that high. I run my unit up high but not that much. i love the CID cutter on my channel
How did you route the cooler? Having a hard time finding a cooler rated for 3000psi
Do you make a Skid Steer Brush Cutter Attachment with a low-flow? My flo is about 12 gpm when the tractor was new
Our Standard Duty Brush Cutter comes with a 60" or 72" mowing deck. It features a 30HP gear box and stump jumper. A flow of 11-20 gpm is required. You can also get it as a open front. Click here to see them. They are the first sets of brush cutters on that page, Thanks. www.cidattachments.com/xtreme_brush_cutter.html
Can you buy one of those
yes we have not put them in our catalog or on our website yet which will be done in June but you can get one now just call us at 336-859-2002 and we will guide you on how to get one. here is another video of it cutting heavier brush too CID Mini Skid Steer Brush Cutter Cutting Heavy Brush
Would this work on a 40 hp tractor what’s the gpm required to run it
Yes the tracks worked pretty good considering the ice we had mixed with the snow and how fast it was melting
How well do the tracks work in the snow? Do they get good grip or did they slip pretty easily
